It is now official: 2014 was the best year this century for jobs creation.
The optimists stand and applaud.
The realists point out that it takes three people at 27 hours per week to do the work that had been done by two people working 40 hours a week. Dropping people back to part time to avoid burdens imposed by the government is not unqualified progress.
