Daily walk

It was a little hard getting the troops motivated for the daily, three mile walk.  As noted in the previous post, we took a two week break due to the +90 degree weather.

Just a few pictures:
Sold to us as Mary Todd Daylily
Jay Daylily
Aerial roots on field corn.

A butterfly sucking up salt from the gravel road.
Both Ohio and Michigan report a very low butterfly count.  I can substantiate the low butterfly counts.  This guy (and yes, he was probably a boy) was a rarity and that made him worthy of a photo.

And a quick link over to a site that tells how to attract butterflies.  My only question is, "What is stale beer?"
